i saw bob.

i'm pretty sure i went to MOCA last night with our friend madison and chuck for the rauschenberg opening, but something tells me it was all a dream. wait, it's coming to me...the sea of jeans, smell of cheap perfume...long lines to the ladies room. oh, and coming face to face with the work of my own personal jesus, lord savior rauschenberg..

ooo...i know! seeing you is like seeing santa coming down the fireplace, only you're super skinny and you prolly don't eat dairy products...i kept looking for you (and all your boy toys) after said hellos but, was either in shock from the exhibition or my cutie girlie radar was unplugged. curses...

and, um, er, it was good to hear the bee gees singing LiVE(????) on the rooftop as we left. honest....i only had ONE cotton pickin' drink.

hmmm. and come to think of it, i grabbed a canceled invite on the way out.....someone ELSE'S. couldn't they just as easily stamp entering members' invites and hand them back and call it a day? bing, bang, boom.

oh, and i plan on living coming back and digesting the show again and again and again, prepare to be embarrassed. openings are SO not intended for spiritual reflection.........curses x 2.

maybe we could grab a break and catch up?

Re: religious experience...
oh man...
when i first walked in...it was like seeing a very good, old, dear friend for the first time in many many years. but, it was kinda like seeing that friend at a very large reunion, with lots of noise and commotion. i just wanna go visit my friend in peace and have some serious quality time together.

note to self : must NOT forget the kleenex.
