Amen to that, I would be purpose-less.

Speaking of art, that icon is YUMMY!!

My boat, .. Max Ernst (always), Cornell (always), Escher (more recently, I really want to UNDERSTAND his space bending ways), I'm really loving the Constructivists, and late Dada manuscripts, all of that distorted type. Oh, and there's a FANTASTIC art book that you should get, it's called 'Genius Moves', and it's absolutely delicious! I love it on a daily basis, it's good enough to eat. haha, I'm far too into this stuff. But yes, I HIGHLY recommend it. Delicious, art, fix.

Is that icon from a piece, if it is... can I see the piece? Would you consider selling it? Or holding it for me until I have funds? (I'm waiting on sales of my own, checks in the mail, etc). I love it, and would love to have a piece of yours in my little art collection here.

Boat Floating
While in New York I last week, there were some paintings by Yves Tanguy that I liked. And the Bauhaus scene is still among my favorites.

Jay Gilligan is my new inspiration/hero/boat-floater. He's an amazing juggler/choreographer, and I hAVe to get a dvd with the last thing I saw him do on it.

I got giddy.

oh yeah. adam ant/squirming/squealing giddy. I would love to be in one of his pieces someday... but i think i need to up my skill set before that could happen... he's a slice of heaven on earth! brilliant talented guy.

here's his site if you have time and are so inclined:
