Hippo Hardware!!!

Actually I hit "reply" to your post because Augen was the gallery that my ex-step mother, Sally Cleveland, does all of her art shows at. Weird, Weird memories there, and a lot of 1st thrusday m&ms consumed on those floors.

hippo was only a short block or two from our hotel...LOVED that place. i had to practically drag chuck away..

and what a small world about the augen connection..i really liked the non-stuffy feel of that gallery. bob kochs (the owner) even treated eva and me to a tasty glass of chilled vodka. next time i'll have to look for the m&m's, though!

Damn- any place that has martinis that size is worth visiting! Just remember to pull the guy on the cell phone out, leaves a bitter aftertaste and unwanted ringtones.

I actually interviewed Sally Cleveland for Artstar Radio. The interview was recently archived online here, for anyone who is curious:

By the way, Baby, we already sold two of your pieces right out of our office today. Right on girl!!
