i always felt like such a loser...
but, now, i don't.

i don't care if i don't have a friend to 'hang out with' every single solitary day. i like me. i like being alone. f'yask me, that takes a bold soul....being alone and being o.k. with it.

aaaah, agnes...my hero.

the minute i heard her say, in effect, 'it's o.k. to be alone,' it was like the universe opened up it's arms and gave me the biggest hug i've ever received.

i equate social activity (for the most part) to turning on a blender, blaring the radio (christian rock, mind you) FULL blast, hearing the cries of a not yet weened infant (who, i might add, has a full AND leaking poopie diaper), along with the barks of a rabid, rat dog rolled all...in...to...one.

k....you might as well throw in the voice of arianna huffington..and then, and ONLY then, i might just muster the guts to buy and learn how to use a loaded weapon.

so, yes.
i'm a grade A freak.
i like my 'alone' time.

we should start a club..but, we won't have monthly meetings, cuz, well, we'd rather be alone.

NOW that's A club I could reaLLy enJoY!

makes me think of being at my first wisdom's goldenrod summer studies... the facilitator asked me how i felt about groups. i said, "i hate groups!" suddenly realizing i was in the midst of a group right there! haha! i still hate groups, but love WG and the people there. just not the whole group thing. that's why i usually don't say anything during the "group class" times!

so yea alone club!

(btw- it is sometimes painful for me to go to juggling club even. but i love juggling and you can't pass clubs by yourself. at least we don't have to talk much there... *shudder*!!)

Groucho Marx put it best, "I wouldn't join any club that would have me as a member."
