thingy m'jiggy

found during my walk yesterday, 'bout the size of a quarter

any guesses what the above found object might be? i have no clue, actually....i'm thinking it was attached to a car at some point....or quite possibly some goth chick's earlobe, or BOTH.

what's the back look like??
May. 2nd, 2007 09:22 pm (UTC)
the back looks pretty much the same, only with more of a shaved off 'nipple.' and it's about a 1/4 inch thick..someone just told me in the found objects community that it's probably part of an alternator...sound right?

i like the weight of it-i might just use it as a good luck charm...until i start having bad luck!

maybe - are the little bumps textured, or bearings? If bearings, it could be a flywheel out of a little electric motor, like a drill or something. Seems too small for an alternator clutch.

careful now....you're getting me all hot and bothered with all your technical speak!!! HAHAHAHA

actually, the little bumps are half circles (for lack of a better description) not what i've come to think of as 'bearings.'

the guy on found objects also thought it might be a flywheel...you're GOOD. and it might've come from a drill or possibly a weed wacker.

thanks for your help!

a lot of people thought it might be a button (i posted this in the found objects community) but, i think it's way too heavy.

good try, though!

It's a dimple spindle off of a neutron resonator, commonly found in spacecraft used by the Nazdar people, who live in the southwest quadrant of our galaxy. I wouldn't want to be in that ship. You can't do a thing if your neutron resonator goes bad!
