i hope this does not offend, but when i have a migraine and nothing else gives relief, i sometimes masturbate. the release of endorphines acts as a natural pain-killer. i'm not trying to be salacious - only medical and helpful.

you can stimulate a pressure point in the wrist to relieve nausea, and it really works! i wore these things called sea-bands to relieve mornng sickness during my pregnancy, and they can also be worn for motion sickness.

yes YES....i used those on a number of flights and was surprised when they worked. i much prefer that to drugging myself on dramamine.

i was on the train yesterday and saw a woman and her daughter (approximately 4 years old) and she was holding her daughter close to her and pressing a coin (i belive it was a nickel) to her temple. i suspected it was to relieve a headache, as the girl did not look completely well. i wonder if that's why she did it, and if it really works. im going to try your recommendation next time ive got a headache.

interesting....gives a whole new meaning to being 'nickeled and dimed,' eh? wonder if a silver dollar cures a migraine?

and remember, i'm not an accupressurist.
i only play one on the internets. :)

and i love the jenny strayer portrait of you in the chambers show...OMG, spot on resemblance!

pssst. i saw your cool pokeman sheets that were wrapping your paintings at CFA, but i decided not to peek and be surprised at the opening...

two-handed technique
guess who now has a bruise on the back of her head from the two-handed technique? You know how I bruise at the drop of a dime?
I had the most poisonous headache the other night, had read your pain-relief comment earlier & thought, hmmm, I'll give it the old college two-handed try. . . Sure enough, I was in so much pain & put so much pressure back on the noggin for longer than the prescribed 'dose' & loser me, I now have a bruised back-of-head. D'oh. s-m-r-t. ha ha. not funny. ouch.
