god bless it america.

well, fuckles.

i'm pretty sure my vote did NOT count today in california's presidential primary election because of THiS. it's all over the news, people were confused or just plain unaware of this double bubble they had to fill out to indicate their party pref. i even went back to my polling place to discuss this (my ballot was irretrievable in a locked box) and they assured me my vote would count as long as i specified a candidate. figures, even THEY'RE clueless. something's clearly wrong with the ballot design, not to mention the lack of cohesiveness and communication amongst poll workers in this area.

lucky for me, i would've been happy with either barack or hillary, but still.....

Wow, so your sample ballot didn't have that on there? Well then how are you supposed to know, that is so wrong!

I might be okay because I'm registered republican already so I got like a whole republican package, at least I think... I don't know though?

I saw your petition thing though and I hope lots of people sign it, every deserves a chance to vote and a lot of people are pissed that Hillary looks like the winner already because they're afraid she won't get as many votes later on since she's a woman and all... and that Barack would be safer, I don't know, but everyone should get their say, it might really matter more than we think!

yeah, you're good as gold with the republican declaration. it was only the non-partisan people that got screwed. i swear i didn't see any bubble on my sample ballot regarding the democrat or independent party.

and you're right, a lot of people are concerned that hillary can't win the election if nominated.....buuuuuuut, things can turn on a dime in politics, so we'll see.

i mean, gore could still jump in at any time!!!! HAHAHAHA
