i'm making my kitchen sink soup, which usually supplies me with 4-5 meals. it usually consists of garbanzo beans, lentils, vegetables, spinach, garlic, onion, wine, tomato and lemon (and whatever else i can scrounge up)..i'm no cook, mind you, but i like the notion of assembling certain concoctions, even if i'm the only one that dares to ingest them. the slicing and stirring and general placement of ingredients can be quite therapeutic for me.

but, am i weird, or does everyone de-string their celery?
