got palin on the brain....

'...McCain campaign manager Rick Davis has said that Palin will agree to an interview when we think it's time and when she feels comfortable doing it....' (AP)

um yeeeeeeah, ok......then i suppose she'll hold off assuming the role of president, in the unfortunate event that mccain might fall gravely ill or die during his term.....that is, until she feels more 'comfortable.'

shouldn't a governor/VP running mate be comfortable responding to spontaneous questions (or at the very least good at faking it) by now?

i thought so too, sweetie. i really wanna see her under REAL pressure, instead of all these pre-packaged/polished speeches. time will tell i guess???

it really just left me scratching my head......like she deserves special treatment cuz it's that time of the month and she has REALLY bad cramps....'we'll get back to ya folks, just as soon as sarah downs some midol....'

Come On, they need all that time to teach her how to say something of substance when asked those tough questions.

eEK....and just what kind of world do YOU live in, mister?!!! everyone KNOWS women should only have to lift their skirt, extend their shapely leg and smile to get ahead in this day and age.

Which of course is why he chose her. To get that all crucial horny male vote.

I can't handle Palin.

When asked last month about the vice presidency, she said, "I still can't answer that question until someone answers for me: What is it exactly that the VP does every day?" When asked about Iraq, she said, "I haven't really focused much on the war in Iraq."

I can't handle McCain

this whol thing is so insulting

Come on -- every politician -- both parties -- picks & chooses his interviews. Obama has always done this. Sarah's telepromtor failed in the middle of her speech & she carried on so smoothly that no one picked up on it. She is, in fact, scheduled to do a huge 2 day interview -- I think it's NBC -- so to be fair you should tune in. I can understand disagreeing with her but I don't understand the hatefulness.

Re: palin
dear anonymous:

for the record, i never said i hated palin.....and you better believe i'm gonna watch her interview (again, i never said i wouldn't) i agree there have been some very passionate arguments disagreeing with palin's beliefs, questioning her qualifications and ethics, etc. (if you bothered to read a few posts back i'm also questioning obama) this is all stemming from the frustration of trying to get to know this virtual stranger only a few short weeks before a pivotal election. i would think the republicans would be JUST as upset having nothing more than these sugar coated speeches she's been regurgitating for the last few weeks....

hmmm, and imagine that-abraham lincoln didn't even HAVE a telepromter.
Sep. 11th, 2008 02:21 pm (UTC)
If Lincoln were alive today he'd use a telepromter. And his wife, a candidate for Dr. Phil, would be on Prosiac. Heck, Lincoln woudl be on Prosiac too.
